REMODEL: 50's Rancher transformed into Dutch Colonial Cabin, Liberty Lake, Washington

Big Holder

This 1950's Ranch style home nestled along the shores of Liberty Lake in North East Washington has found a new and revitalized life as Dutch Colonial Cottage. The owners did not have a need for additional square footage but wanted their home to be much more spacious feeling but still wanted to retain a comfortable and cozy flavor. The new roof is highly vaulted with heavy timber truss accents to keep the scale of the rooms on a human scale. Much more light is allowed to flood into the home by way of new shed dormers adding warmth deep into the interior of the home.
