A quick look at a few creative remodel projects. The first two pictures are a dramatic transformation of a 1950's rancher into a dramatic 2 story Craftsman. The next two also show a rancher facelift but this time into a cozy riverside retreat. The final 4 pictures show a relatively simple update to a 1980's farmhouse. The front of the home just needed some minor tweaks to make it MUCH better. Several additions to the rear of the house helped to clean up the look of the home as well as enhance the indoor/outdoor relationships.
This is a large home for a large family yet is designed to be comfortable and not overwhelming.
This Old English style Horse barn also doubles as an area for "Toy" storage on the ground level. The best spaces are reserved for upstairs where you find a full size Basketball court complete with Locker room and entertainment kitchen/Bar.

3 Dimensional models are often a useful tool to explore the overall design and how the building affects it's surroundings. Usually constructed of heavy paper, they are a work of art as much as being a functional study model.
